It is simple! You make sure you get all the ingredients below ready on Saturday, June 6 at 7:30 pm (EST), and we will all be LIVE on Zoom cooking together from different kitchens! Isn't that cool?!

INGREDIENTS:

Falafel Ingredients (we will bake them for health purpose)

  • 2 lb. dried chickpeas (or 1 lb. chickpeas + 1 lb. peeled Fava beans)

  • ½ bunch Parsley
  • ½ bunch Cilantro
  • 10 cloves peeled Garlic
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 tb. cumin
  • 1 tb. Coriander
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • ½ tb Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. Chilli powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • Canola oil for frying (in case you want to fry the falafel).

Accessories:
  • Tahini sauce:
    • Tahini
    • Lemon Juice
    • 1 clove minced garlic
    • salt
    • water
  • Salty Pickles (cucumbers, turnips, pickled chilli peppers)
  • Tomatoes
  • Fresh radish
  • Chopped fresh Italian parsley
  • Pita Bread (Pocket bread)     

Almond Milk Pudding:

    • 1 litre Almond milk
    • 240 g Raw Sugar (or white for none-vegan)
    • 100 g Cornstarch
    • 1 tbsp Rose water
    • 100 ml Cold water
    • Mastic  
    • Raw nuts your choice. My favorite is sliced pistachios but I couldn't find - sliced Almond is also great!

Special Instructions!!! Soak the chickpeas and Fava beans in water in 2 separated bowls overnight (12 to 24 hours).
